Presented here are only those who, working side by side with him, creating, collaborating and competing, in one way or another exerted a noticeable influence on him, contributed to his change as a creator and a person.

Soviet and Russian monumental sculptor, teacher, public figure. Academician of the USSR Academy of Arts (1962, Corresponding Member 1958). Hero of Socialist Labor (1977). People's Artist of the USSR (1963). Laureate of the Lenin Prize (1958) and the I.E.Repin State Prize of the RSFSR (1986). Honorary Citizen of St. Petersburg (1997). Member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts (1995-1997).

Monumental sculptor, teacher. Hero of Socialist Labor (1978). People's Artist of the BSSR and the USSR, laureate of two Stalin Prizes of the second degree (1946, 1948). Honored Artist of the Dagestan ASSR. Academician of the USSR Academy of Arts (1958, Corresponding Member 1947). Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

Glebov Alexey Konstantinovich
1908-1968
People's Artist of the Byelorussian SSR (1955). Honored Artist of the Byelorussian SSR (1944). Laureate of the State Prize of the Byelorussian SSR (1976, posthumously).

Significant works: Equestrian statue of L.M.Dovator (1945, Regional Museum of Local History, Vitebsk), group "Maxim Gorky and Yanka Kupala", 1949, group "Meeting V.I.Lenin at the Finland Station in April 1917", relief "Partisans of Belarus" (bronze, 1954) for the monument to soldiers of the Soviet Army and partisans in Minsk.
Grube Alexander Vasilievich
1894-1980
Soviet sculptor, teacher. Honored Artist of the BSSR (1942). People's Artist of the BSSR (1944). Chairman of the Board of the Union of Artists of the BSSR (1942- 1944).
Studies: Penza Men's Gymnasium, Natural Sciences Department of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of Petrograd University, self- taught sculptor.
Significant works: The first monument to V.I.Lenin in the USSR erected during his lifetime (1922, wood, Krasnopole settlement, Belarus), “Kastus Kalinovsky” (1926, wood), “Maxim Bogdanovich” (1927, plaster), portrait of L.M.Dovator (1942, plaster, State Tretyakov Gallery), monument to V.V.Kuibyshev in Kokchetav (1948, bronze).
Kibalnikov Alexander Pavlovich
1912-1987
Soviet sculptor. Academician of the USSR Academy of Arts (1954, Corresponding Member 1947). Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1957). People's Artist of the USSR (1963). Laureate of the Lenin Prize (1959) and two Stalin Prizes of the second degree (1949, 1951).

Significant works: The monument "Unconquered Man" in the memorial complex "Khatyn", the sculptural composition "Liberation", one of the four high reliefs decorating the Victory Monument on the Round Square in Minsk, the marble bust of Yakub Kolas, the sculptural compositions "The Last Battle" and "Defenders of the Brest Fortress".
